Duke offers locations where faculty, staff and students can receive a free flu vaccination. Vaccinations can also be obtained at Duke Primary Care providers, area pharmacies and other locations, but documentation must be provided for compliance.
Requirements & Exemptions
Annual vaccination against the flu is a condition of employment at Duke Health; other University staff and faculty working on-site must be vaccinated or have an approved medical or religious exemption to maintain access to Duke’s buildings and facilities.
Getting the Vaccine
Please note: an egg-free option of the vaccine as well as other special vaccine formulations will be available at Employee Occupational Health and Wellness clinics.
